1. Description:

We have developed the polymerized complex precursor technique for the fabrication of BaTiO3 and YBa2Cu3O7-d as representatives of electronic ceramics. It has been shown by Raman spectroscopy that heterometallic (Ba, Ti)-citric acid chelate complexes are formed in a starting solution. Pure BaTiO3 powders free from BaCO3 have been obtained by pyrolysing the polymeric gel in air at 700–750°C. Highly pure polycrystalline YBa2Cu3O7-d material with Tc(onset)=91.5 K was successfully synthesized by the polymerized complex method.
